Dating back to approximately 1540, Hall Place was built in Bexley by John Champney,Lord Mayor of the City of London using recycled stone from a monastry. For most of the 19th century the Grade 1 listed building was used as a boarding school. The building has now been restored to its original Tudor and 17th Century designs.
